Walking to the edge of everything!

Always a great walk, peaceful and ever changing, yet it's the same. That's what I love about it. Familiar unfamiliarity.

Nice place for a walk but, typical of many shoreline trails, sandy path is uneven and has lots of driftwood so you have to watch your step. Fun to watch paragliders frim there.

Very nice light house. Easy to access from a short sandy trail.. There is a wall of Rock Boulders holding back the ocean. It's an amazing sight to see from the back side of the light house.. Take a left turn on the sandy trail and you find a beautiful beach full of colorful rocks to collect.. Beautiful drift wood to build a warm fire. Or a log shelter..nThe seagulls are in an abundance here... There is a fee of $10. For day use..

Fort Worden and the Point Wilson light house are a must see if you're on the northeastern side of the Olympic peninsula. The old fort was built at the end of the 19th century, and feels like you're walking through a history book when you are there. The lighthouse is very pretty, and is something you just don't see every day. Added bonus, the fort is in Port Townsend, which has a very unique charm of its own. It's definitely worth the drive.
