The park is beautiful and well maintained. There is enough parking space for cars. It is ADA compliant. There is a small covered picnic table and bathrooms for hikers and visitors. Recently the trail system was expanded up to the saddle ranch trail. Dog and bike friendly and has random metal bench that people can sit and rest while enjoying the view of the Carson River. You will enjoy watching birds and ducks on the river. Sometimes you will spot deers during summer, spring and fall. There are shades from big trees here in there especially along the river during summer. Different beauty during changes of season. Enjoy the park and the trail system, stay safe and healthy. See you around.

Smell the sagebrush, hear the calls of our avian friends as well as the seasonal gurgles or roars of the Carson River, and see the wild horses, deer, coyotes, jackrabbits, cottontail, geese, ducks, quail, doves, and many more who either make this park their home or use it as a rest stop on their way to somewhere else. And it's all yours for the price of a stroll on easy trails only a stone's throw from city life. Meeting local folks and their furry friends along the way is yet another bonus.

My family and I love here! Really quite and so many birds. Beautiful. Easy walk for kids. We definitely want to visit here every week.

Riverview Park is a great place to go for a hike or walk. The trails are mostly fire roads and are easy to walk with some decent scenery of the Carson River, farmland, and surrounding mountains.

Love the trails and the fact my dog can be off leash to run. Have met many friendly dog people.nNice road wide trails, some of which run long the Carson River, some connect to other trails such as the Mexican Ditch Trail.nI have been told that another mile and half of trail is being built to run along the river.nSuch a great place.
