Rich Peak is 12,525 ft and an aggressive all day hike & climb from Taos Ski Valley in summer. Approach either from Williams Lake or come over Kachina. Probably the most popular in the summer is to take the trail to the right at the pass above the lake, but you can take lift #4 to help knock-off a couple thousand feet of the vertical if you choose the alternative. Very tough and technical winter climb (mono-point crampons and two axes recommended) -- If you do hike in the winter, come from the Kachina side as coming up from Williams requires you to cross a really, really deep snowfield/bowl. Love the sign at the top (mileage to Shanghai and NYC).
