Colorful Colorado State Sign

✔off the bucket list! Beautiful area, there is actually a parking area up above the sign that. Please be careful though cause cars drive pretty fast through here. We saw people park right off the service road as well. Be safe!

It's pretty awesome that the Colorado state line is on the top of a mountain.

Looks very clean and polished even though it is different from the other state signs! Well polished!

There is construction going on there right now the highway is down to one lane both directions so be careful I would suggest taking the last exit in New Mexico you can access the sign from the roadside rest with out having to jam up traffic! Be safe and enjoy. Your best and safest route to the sign is to use exit 460 in New Mexico. Drive by or stop into the Raton pass café. The sign has lots of parking if you go this route and some other historic boards can be found here as well! Enjoy and be safe.
