A great community resource. The museum has a lot of interesting exhibits about the history of the region, but they also put on many cultural events.
Great place to recount ones bringing up.
The museum really has an appreciation for the people who were part of Lea county history. This place has a wonderful display of the history and of all the people who served our country
A lot of history all in one place. Theme rooms from toy tractors to ball gowns to military uniforms, to horseshoes. Buildings from dugout to school to family home to post office. Transportation from saddles to aircraft to stagecoach to race car.
Absolutely stunning local history, hard not breathe it all in. Wonderful curator, classy guests, it offers a very focused look at the county's past, with an even better look at the present and future of these historic places, it's leaders, and the beautiful People that make this whole region their home!
