Stayed here last year 1st camper in and last camper out, we enjoyed our stay. Booked our same site for 2021, before we departed in 2020. Called today March 1st . Our site was not available. Was trying to book for May - Sep. New management is struggling. Will stay somewhere else this summer. I hope the new owner reads this.

Stayed here in January. Just wanted a place to stay for the night, and an electric hookup for the night. They charged $55. Kind of steep for nothing more than a parking lot. No bathrooms, showers or laundry. Person I spoke to on the phone asked several times if I was going to use water, to which I said no. I was winterized. I just wanted electricity . The previous guest had told her the same and used the water, which froze, had burned her.. She was kind of rude and accusatory. Despite my assurance that my wife and son were just looking for a place to sleep, she was a bit harsh. An hour or so after getting there, I got a phone call. It was the same lady and she asked me whether I was hooked up to water. Basicly accused me of being hooked up. Said someone drove by and saw me hooked up to water. I again informed her that I was winterized and did not want her water. The only cord I had plugged in was electric. I went the next night to Red River RV Park, and had a completely different experience. For Under $40 I got a beautiful spot bt the river, and the electric i wanted, with no lights shining on our truck all night from traffic. Darkness and a running stream. In addition to that, bathrooms, showers, laundry, trash.... George was so welcoming and the place was clean and beautiful. Do your research folks...

8-2019 We stayed for a week in August. The people were so friendly. They even had a Hawaii themed pot luck. They have a potluck each month. The view was amazing. We had a giant field of wildflowers, the lake and the mountains to enjoy. Bring your hummingbird feeders!!! They are every where. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The sites have plenty of room. They are grassy with gravel pads and roads. We saw a lot of wildlife while in the area. A heard of Elks, group of turkeys crossing the road. While sitting on the nice picnic table provided we could watch deer every night grazing and graded to the lake.

We always loved sending our clients here. It is such a beautiful place and the lake is right in their back yard. Mary and Tommy are so pleasant and helpful. The property is really nice and big, its easy to pull through and turnaround. The recreation room is really nice too. The village of eagle nest has some really nice restaurants and shops! Everyone there seems so friendly.
