The campground was clean and well maintained. The camp hosts were working the entire time we were there, clearing brush and trees for the upcoming season. They were nice and the rangers came everyday to monitor the place. Yes the pipes froze but that is no ones fault. Trails start right across the street and beautiful views no matter where you park.
Nice little campground that we could even get our 38' Diesel Pusher into space #5. Slightly sloped downhill as the RV sits. Water/Electric available. I added a screen capture of the campground map. We were here at the end of February 2019. Some hiking despite the snow on the ground. No over the air TV or cell reception. Very quiet.nnWe're full time hiking RVr's, blog link in bio.
This is a nice, clean campground with bear proof lockers to protect your food. Plan to bring a propane grill if you want to cook outside. Dry climate raises the risk for fire danger/ban. Some campsites have full hookups! Nice hikes and history about the area.
Full house last night. Outhouse Bathroom was adequate. Didn't have chance to see lake, Very Very Beautiful though
Very clean and quiet. Two camp hosts, one was nearly invisible even when supposed to be on duty. The other was awesome, very friendly and extremely helpful.
