Best peach milk shakes ever.nnBut those are seasonal. Luckily all the food is good. I like that their cheese is real, their lettuce fresh and green, tomatoes are fresh, and ask their burger and sandwich options are plentiful. Insider tip: ask for the grilled cheese on wheat with real cheddar.
Don't let the exterior fool you. We did look at this place and thought to turn away. But we gave it a go since we were hungry. I ordered the black bean burger and my husband got the regular burger. We shared a large order of sweet potato fries. Was perfect! We hadn't had breakfast but this will satisfy us well into the evening. The burgers were nicely packed and was warm.
Piping hot, fresh food!
For a roadside diner in a small town, Empire Dairy King is quite good. The weight wasn't very long and the choices for food were extensive. Burgers come with all the fixins. Fries were crisp and delicious. I'm told the ice cream is good here as well.
Small town ice cream and other treats with friendly and fast service. There is a nice outdoor seating area too.
