Nice Airport. Easy to find because of the lake. Note that airfield is significanty higher than the water.

Great little airport. No services but a porta potty. About a 20-30 minute walk to town where there are a few places to eat, and several hotels. Once in town there is a trail to walk along to creek to the lake. We arrived a little late, however, and there wasn't enough daylight left for the hike. Next time.

Great place to start your Mono lake hike. Have a burger at Whoa Nellie's and follow the Creek trail to the visitor center. Hike down to the lake, and back around the east side of the airport. About 7 miles, 3 hours
