The trail is pretty long if you have to park all the way at the end of the free parking on Crenshaw. The pathway is pretty obvious, although there are some alternate routes that I have not tried yet. To reach the top going at a moderate walking pace took about an hour but it took about an hour walking back. When it rains, the greenery is flush but it gets sooooo hot in the summer so take some umbrella cause shade is scarce after 9 am.

Would be better if there weren't so many people. Lots of people not adhering to the COVID related rules that are clearly posted. Even if you don't agree with them, those are the rules posted and you should respect them if you're in the park. There were multiple people going against the one way trails (clearly marked at both ends), not wearing masks, bringing large groups, and generally not socially distancing. Couple weeks ago there was even a group of people where a girl straight up urinated basically right on the trail- she was less than a mile from the porta potty they provide, and on top of that there were ample better places to set up shop and do your business. In general the people that come here trash and ruin the place, otherwise it'd be great.
