If you want a challenge and get a good work out, this is the place. The hike here is not for your average Joe. There are some steep incline and decline trails that will require an individual to be somewhat athletic. I have seen a LA sheriffs helicopter come to rescue someone here at Summitridge. Overall, this place is beautiful. You can see Mount Baldy and downtown LA on a relatively clear day.
Great little park. Two levels. Upper level of the park has great views of the mountain range and access to the trails. Can get busy but normally it’s pretty quiet at the weekends.
It's nice park. But it doesn't have any restroom. Parking is a bit small. If you drive up more. There's additional parking. But if you wanted to hang in the front not much.
Want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Spend a few hours exploring Summitridge Park. With spacious, verdant grounds, fresh air and a laid-back vibe, the park is a relaxing respite for those who want to escape SoCal’s restless energy.nnFor a memorable and exhilarating excursion, hike the park’s scenic trail. While the trail is only around three miles long, it’s a nice and mildly challenging adventure with some steep inclines.nnBoasting an impressive elevation of 1,152 feet, the park’s summit will also reward you with breathtaking views. And, along the way, you’ll see scores of gorgeous views.nnThere are even guides on the trail that highlight the history of the area and the places you’re looking at, like Cucamonga Peak and Mount Wilson. And, did we mention that the sunset views here are nothing short of awe-inspiring?
A very nice park to sit and have a picnic. There is a hiking trail nearby that is a bit tough so, I would advise to bring water and take breaks. It is hilly but has a very nice view of the surrounding cities including Pomona, Chino Hills and Diamond Bar.
