Hard'ack Recreation Area

Great local recreation center area in St. Albans to take family sledding, skiing, snow shoeing in winter months and hiking, biking in warmer months. New recreation center building has basic snack bar and a nice outside fire pit sitting area. The ski and sledding hill is maintained by volunteers and free to use with suggestion for donation. There is a tow rope on the ski hill side which is occasionally running depending on ski conditions.

This is a beautiful spot and a well-run place. We got a big storm today, the driveway was plowed, and the fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere. We loved our first Hard'Ack visit.

Fun place to explore with your family.

I has walked in the forest. The trail has cleaned for hiking, cycling, Nordic skiing. Many new benches and a picknic area. The lamp post installed in some places. Wish to have a map, directions sign for a visitors.

It's great for hiking trails. Walking pups. Sking/snowboarding with family. Sledding.
