This is a small but charming park. The trails are easy and good for a pleasant afternoon stroll. Plenty of places to just kick back and enjoy nature.
Quiet, uncrowded gem. Huge marsh. Paved and grassy trails. We went in late August when the water levels are low so 99% of the trail was walkable. But it probably gets pretty wet in the Spring so some of the grassy trails may get muddy, plus one short section of the paved trail down by the water. The paved trail is really nice and wide. Not very long either. We saw a couple of eagles there.
What a beautiful Mother’s Day walking our dog with our son!!! We saw so many different birds! The fish were jumping high out of the water really putting on a show...
We came here during high water, but only a portion of one trail was flooded. A good mix of grass and paved trails. Beautiful marsh area.
This used to be one of my favorite trails, but the marsh flooding has ruined a huge chunk of it. It's too bad there isn't funding to raise the flooding areas so the loop can be used again.
