Glacier Hill Lakes

Wow what a nice place, these folks go out of their way to help. Thank you very much.

This is a very nice campground, clean facilities, fun activities for everyone, friendly people and owners. They take pride in this place always seem to be doing something to make it better. I enjoy this place very much but there are 2 things that do bother me somewhat. #1 the lack of weekend sites for friends or family to camp with you for the weekend although they can camp on ur seasonal lot if ur lot is large enough for 2 campers and you don't mind paying their electric bill. #2 the amount it cost visitors to come in and sit on ur lot that you paid good money for to rent for the season. Most people that visit us might stay for an hour or so and never leave our camper. 7 dollars per person is abit much just for that. I would really like to see them charge more if my visitor chooses to fish or swim then I understand they are using their facility. Some places do wristbands or stamps for such situations and if they get caught without it they get booted. Don't miss understand this is a great place and great people but these 2 issues do bother me somewhat. UPDATE !!!!!! Well after camping at this place 4 years my opinion of the owners has changed abit. After having open heart surgery me and my wife decided to give up camping so we put a forsale sign in the window. Shortly after the owners ask why and we assured them it had nothing to do with them but we were done when our contract was up in January 2021 (note this was in Sept. 2020) with the remainder of camping season left until October 31. End of Sept we were ask if they could pull our camper out and park it in the parking lot up front so I agreed so they could (trim trees).A week later we go to campground to find our camper still in the parking lot so we drive back to check the lot out and someone else is already set up with their camper, shed, fire ring ect.. all moved in on our lot that we have a contract on until January 2021. I was speechless all I could do was laugh. I never once told these people I was done camping for the year. I had until January of 2021 to get our camper out so I thought lol. I got into an argument with one of the owners and she told me they didn't do refunds so I told her I wanted my lot back then. Her brother another owner ended up calling me and and offered me $250 dollar which was nowhere near what it cost a month to camp there if u break it down monthly but I took it and ran far far away from that place because I didn't want to argue with them. If there so money Hungry and couldn't wait until my contract was up in January 2021 they can have it but I guarantee they will never see a penny of my money again. They couldn't wait until January 2021 to make another $1800 lot rent from someone else wow. Would not recommend unless you like spending money and 101 ridiculous rules to follow. I'm sure they will have something to say if they read this but it's funny we were great people just like the rest of the people that camp there until they knew they would no longer receive yearly lot rent from us anymore );nGood luck I recommend having a great day somewhere else (:

Friendly staff (owners) definitely can't wait to go back

Drove little over an hour to check this place out for a permanent spot for our camper, this place is beautiful. Everything was well maintained, very very clean and friendly staff. All the sites were good size, nice mixture of wooded areas and open. The amount of things to do is awesome Big park, nice size pool and splash pad! I could go on and on and this was just a visit! We put ourselves on the waiting list, and can’t wait to become family!
