it's the best go there all the time
Very nice place with nice people. Our area was very spacious and quiet. We were able to go to all of our points of attractions with a small drive, come back and eat lunch and head out again. There is a nice beach and extra stuff in Logan to do. This is a rustic place so its pit toilets and the showers are rustic.
Wonderful cowboy Larry's horse camp was great. The horse trails in hocking hills state park were very well maintained and a beautiful ride
It's just Beautiful, God's Country
My father, the late Charles T. Foster (Hocking State Forest Manager 1976-1999) and his crew established this area circa 1980 for use as a public Horse Camp and a safe area to ride out from and experience the extensive network of trails also laid out by my father and his crew. During the late 1980s and 1990s, my father worked closely with the Ohio Horseman’s Council to maintain the trails of Hocking State Forest and this camp. Through their combined efforts, much of the trail network remains today.
