Having stayed at this park for the last 7 years I would have easily given it 5 stars without question. That is until this year. Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic park and is one of the best I have ever stayed at. The facilities are very well maintained and the park is clean and beautiful. There is a brand new dog park which is none like I have ever seen before. They recently made improvements to the main pool area and have brand new paddle boats which are free to use daily. The sports courts have been totally updated to include pickle ball (super fun) and a new basketball court. From what i understand they will be completely replacing and updating the pool area at the playhouse end of the park. This all sounds great and believe me it is, but at what cost?nWe, the park patrons are footing the bill for all these improvement that have been coming fast and furious over the last few years. The site fees have risen dramatically, this year especially. I recently stayed there for 7 nights and my bill was $826. For the first time ever I paid extra for each child over the age of 12. I had two 14 y/o with me that cost $9 extra a day each! Apparently your rate only includes two people.nListen, I get it. Lake George is a popular destination and this is definitely the best park in the area so you pay a premium for that. Ultimately I wouldn't mind the price so much if one very basic, super important fundamental of camping, and every camper has dealt with this before.... WATER PRESSURE (or lack thereof). This was the first year at this park where I could not shower in my own unit, unless you like the feeling of soft butterfly kisses coming from your showerhead. It didn't matter the time of day and from what I can tell the park was only at about 70% occupancy. I have been there during the busiest of times on holiday weekends and it was never close to this bad. I thought maybe something was wrong with my rig but everyone I spoke to around the park had the same issue. Come on LGRVP!! I appreciate all the improvements you have made and will continue to make but if I can barely flush my toilet there is a big problem.

This RV park is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. It’s beautiful and extremely clean. The sites are great and pretty private with plenty of room. The park is quiet and relaxing but has plenty to do. We have dogs so we asked for a shaded site and it was perfect. And speaking of perfect, the dog park is amazing!! We only booked for 3 nights since it was our first time there and we liked it so much we extended our stay to 5 nights and are planning to go back in October! We love it and it will be our must visit place every year. Thanks for a great time.

Large beautiful park. We went out of season during covid so we did not get to enjoy the waterpark or movie theater. Sites vary from one to another some level and others need cement blocks to level your camper. Also vary in size. Each site has a trash can with daily pickup. Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were open. Nice trails for a walk or bike ride. Very hilly!!! Also a fishing pond and several playgrounds for kids.
