I loved hiking here! The only issue is that the trails connect to the larger Greenbelt trail and it wasn't that clear about staying on the trail. Otherwise, I loved hiking here!

Quiet meadows and an old woodland filled with birdsong -- beautiful refuge run by the Nature Conservancy and connected to the Nassau-Suffolk trail

Visited on a weekend morning, fantastic trip with two toddlers. There are trails and meadows , simply a magical place , so much beauty , it’s tranquil.

Be prepared for various types of terrain and hills and you’ll be fine. I loved the variety of options and the somewhat varied scenery!
