I purchased a mother of the bride dress back in April 2019 for my daughters wedding which took place last week. While the dress was beautiful I had to get it altered. Laura recommended a lady by the name of Lisa who does all her alterations. Lisa also lives in Carmel NY. I went to her, she fitted me and I went back to make sure the dresses was properly measured ( so I thought) I went back to finally pick up dress within a reasonable time. When I got there the dress was nicely placed in a hanger with a plastic covering, I paid my balance (which was not cheap) and left. Big Mistake—- I should’ve tried it on. It was sewn horribly——- the dress continued to shift to the side all night long. What disappointment!!!! She ruined my Daughters and my entire wedding day

My maid of honor, along with two of my bridesmaids and I went to Laura’s Boutique in February, enough time to have dresses ready for my July wedding. About a month before the wedding Laura finally shipped the dresses, explaining that it was a “busy season.” When my five bridesmaids received their dresses, two of them were too small, and one so small that it could not zip. When my maid of honor received her dress it was the wrong dress all together. When I reached out to Laura at first she seemed like she would resolve the issue with all three dresses. However, she only exchanged one of the dress that was too small and the maid of honor dress. When I contacted her she explained that she was unsure why I was “upset.” She refused to pick up my calls and only corresponded through text message. I was simply asking about the status of the dresses. She stopped responded to my phone calls and messages and eventually sent a dress that was about 3 sizes too big for the maid of honor and a dress that was still too large for one of my bridesmaids. The third dress she did not attend to at all. I will say that the dresses were beautiful, however we received terrible service and treatment and had to make last minute alterations because of incorrect dress sizes. Laura is not responsive and offers terrible customer service.

I Had a wonderful experience last weekend when I purchased my wedding gown at this bridal shop. I never knew it was even here until a friend of mine referred me. I walked in and found my absolute dream dress!! I have been to 5 prior shops and found nothing at all. The dresses looked the same but here she had beautiful gowns and knew exactly what style looked the best on me. They are friendly and lovely people to deal with it was no pressure just a fun time shopping for my gown. Thank you ladies I will be back with my mom!!

Love Laura’s Boutique!! Laura is the most kind and helpful shop owner I’ve ever met! She saved me with expediting the order for an outstanding dress for my daughter’s wedding, after the dress I got from another shop was destroyed when it was altered. I can’t recommend Laura’s Boutique enough! I will NEVER go anywhere else. Laura’s Boutique has the best choices and the best service!
