I’m new to the area and I used Rite Aid in NYC so I figured it was a no brainer to use my new local Rite Aid. However, I won’t be coming back. The service is the slowest I ever seen. If the transaction doesn’t go through in the first try, don’t expect them to try to help you. They basically give you the run around just so that they can move to the next customer. I’m a Registered Nurse and I oversee a clinic and pharmacy in NYC, and I know the things that can be done to help someone out who has issues with their insurance or with a prior authorization (I troubleshoot these kind of issues for my patients all the time). This people here will not even try, they just quickly dismiss you without giving you any guidance on what to do to solve the issue. Good thing I know what to do in these situations, but I wonder the struggle that other customers have to go through those who lack this knowledge. Needless to say, I’ll be switching to a different pharmacy.

Slowest pharmacy I've ever been to, hopefully you don't need your medication too soon!! Street clear of this place!!!

I always waited a long time every time i come to this pharmacy. They’re taking forever not on top of their game I don't recommend this pharmacy.
