Niagara Woodland Campground

Description: This is an 'out in the country' type of campground where you park your RV under tall trees. Gravel roads and some simple landscaping makes it pretty. BUT: The owners actually scared me into leaving without a refund. Edit: apparently the man described in here is an employee, not the owner. Not sure about the woman's role. What happened: They have a posted speed limit of 5 mph, and it's not really possible to go faster due to braking and avoiding all the potholes. My speedometer never went above the first mark above zero. Apparently that was too fast, because first a woman flagged me down and literally screamed at me that I was too fast, then an hour later the man came down and stood threateningly with his hands on his hips and screamed loudly about our car speeding and to 'ride the brakes' all the way through the campground. Both were so angry that all I could think was that if I stayed I'd have to sleep with nothing but a thin camper door between us. I'm a mature woman with years in management, and you don't have to scream at people and stand threateningly over them to get what you want. Their manner was abusive enough that I felt unsafe to stay there. Definitely will never go there again. If you read my reviews of other places, there are mostly 5 stars, so if you get a 1, you did something bad.

This place is awesome the owners are nice and staff is nice the playground and pools are awesome the bathrooms are good the people here are awesome and I see has a lot of five star reviews then one star and two star reviews and all the ones starting to sell reviews I just people that didn’t really get into that outdoor vibe. And if you like outdoors it’s definitely something that you would like.

Lovely management. Treed attractive sites with good wifi. Everything clean and well maintained.nA bit overpriced if you are paying the overnight rate in a small van like us, but mostly filled with long term yearly stayers who enjoy a lovely peaceful park at great rates

Just stayed a week. Had a wonderful time. The owners and staff were great. Nice pool, playground for the kids and laundry area.

Great amenities, updated big showers. The campground residents take beautiful care of their spaces. All sites seem to have electric, water and wifi... even tents. Tent site was a bit rundown and too many mosquitoes being near ditch. Staff very nice and accommodating. Over 30 mins from Niagara Falls unfortunately.
