Lake Placid Bobsled Experience

It’s closed for construction. The cross country ski run is all that’s operational right now. No notification anywhere until you get all the way there, park, go into the main building, and then are turned away.

So, so fun. Great audio history on the way up, great audio simulation of the way down. My 4-year-old son and I rode together. He wanted to get back on. Ride lasts 9-10 min, 6 to go up, 3 to come down. What a thrill.

Amazing to see in person. Lots of places to stand with various vantage points. A bit steep to walk down in placed depending on the snow/slush/ice but still doable.

I agree with other people, the price was a little shocking, but they included pictures & a t-shirt for each rider. But then after my wife & 2 daughters experienced it, we talked about how it was well worth the money.

Lake Placid is a wonderful place to experience Olympic bobsledding! Trackside and mountain views makes this a must-see if you have the chance. It's an easy sport to enjoy and it's located near a quaint town with a plethora of quality places to stay, eat, and have fun while you're not at the track.
