Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex

This is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. You take the gondola up, then walk over to the ski jump complex and take a glass elevator up to the top! They even allow you to walk up almost to where the skiers would stand. It's really an amazing view and cool to see how it all looks in real life !

Great to see in person, but I can't understand how a human person would want to do that for a sport and like it. Correction love it.

A interesting part of Olympic history with great views.

Glad to see this historical site but would have liked to have been pre informed that most everything was closed for tourist fun. Beautiful new center, the furnishings, bathrooms, floor plan and view are unsurpassed. Service friendliness was lacking in the dining areas.

We recently visited the ski jump complex with our kids. The staff was knowledgeable about the history of the site. Gondola operators were very friendly. The views from the top were incredible. A must do on your next trip to Lake Placid.
