Been coming to this store for about 4 years. All the shirts have held up & the patches still look great. Husband's rugby shirt's been washed alot. We thought the owner was funny. He was very patient while I picked out patches for a hat (gift) & a wool scarf I wanted...been wearing it all winter. Don't remember any signs about food/drink (but most stores don't want you to, so wouldn't have noticed it).

I have to go back to the shop because the letters of my last name are falling off. The guy was nice, but he did get distracted a lot. He also was kinda of commanding. Other than that, he helped us out, the girl made a mistake, but the guy told me that my sweater would look more vintage since people used to hand-nit stuff. He also told us that the sweater could last five years and can be washed. So, try to get a size a little bigger so you can use it for a longer period of time. As a visitor to Lake Placid, I think it is something worth doing. Don’t put too many patches on though, like me, I put two patches on both arms and a couple on the front. Also he can add your last name a sport or hockey number. That’s all, bye.

Awesome store. Owner took a huge amount of time helping me design the perfect sweater. I’ll be back to get custom rugby shirts for my kids. Highly recommend

The owner is extremely unprofessional and condescending. He said some very rude things to me while I was trying to buy some shirts that just aren't worth repeating here. Don't be distracted by all the junk hanging from the ceiling, take a look at the actual product and you'll realize it's just as bad as the owner's attitude. The locals are right- stay clear of this place!

Worst customer service experience of my life. The owner is overly rude and unpleasant. Quality of the clothing is cheap. Be careful because he will try to overcharge you and argue with you about everything. Oh and that great music playing everyone mentioned is literally just basic pop radio. Don’t waste your time or money on this tourist trap.
