Lake Placid Ski and Board

Cute local ski and snowboard shop near Whiteface mountain. We stopped in last weekend when walking through the area while visiting. They have all the standard gear and then some for sale and rentals. Lots to choose from and really nice styles there. Great end of season sales, I found some great ski mittens! The staff was helpful and wearing masks.

Came up on a long weekend. Did not intend on skiing but have skied before. I was in the market for a new a new set of skis because I was sick of renting. I happened to walk into Lake placid Ski and Board and was immersed greeted with a friendly hello and how can we help you. I was just looking at the time but found a set of skis I was interested in. I luckily ran into Tyler who asked a ton of questions listened to my needs and put me on the exact set of skis I needed. Furthermore he stayed late and fit my skis that night!!! I am on sales personally and his attention to detail along with listening to the customer was top notch. I was in the market yes but because of Tyler I ended up walking out with a complete setup at a great price. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get set up for skiing or snowboarding. I live 3 hours away but still will be bringing my family back to this shop for all our skiing needs. Thank you so much to everyone there!!!

I am a beginner skier and Lake Placid Ski and Board make the rental process extremely quick and easy. The rental prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Just wow, nicest people in the world work here! So knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Walked in during one of the busiest weeks of the year and was promptly helped! What a great place, fantastic inventory, highly recommend.
