Great place to run around on the grass lots of room, the only down side the trees are still small and there's not much shade, but that will fix itself.

Recently refurbished park with very decent, new playground equipment, suitable for a variety of childrens' ages. Has a covered area for shade and to get out of rain. There is some wheelchair accessibility, but restroom doors are manual only.

Really cool place with concessions..bathrooms...and lots of fun people. Outside showers. But the water in the lake stinks so be prepared to smell like clam chowder until you shower. We had so much fun!

This park cost $300,000+ paid for mostly by the Lauzier Foundation’s grant money. It’s not finished. The dirt road on the east side needs paving so dust doesn’t distract the dog walkers, soccer, softball and soap Lake sportsters during practice and play. The playground alone cost more than $30,000. For all the money spent by the former city council its worth taking a look but I miss the big trees that were cut down. Amazing things a potato farmers money is spent on. A park to play but no one to reach out to the children of the community to schedule any reindeer games this Christmas! Too bad the nice new restrooms are never open. All the older citizens in the City used to call it Veterans Park.

Great park. There is a big field with a couple of soccer goals. Also a great play area for the kids. Bathrooms are clean most of the time. Sprinklers turn on kind of early (9pm). But a great park overall. Also would be nice if they added a couple of lights.
