Jimmy Jones Locker

We have only ordered take out. The food is great. The take out service is fast and always complete.nWe would highly recommend either trying them for the 1st time or going back for another great meal.

I have ordered food from Jimmy Jones in the past for my elderly parent. In the past they honored the fact that she’s 96 years old and can’t come in to get her own food giving her the senior discount. I actually qualify myself as a senior but when ordering on the phone they had Honored my moms age regarding the senior discount. A few months ago I tried to do the same thing and was told on the phone that they would not provide a senior discount based on my saying my mom’s age unless she picked it up herself; I explained I’m also a senior and would pick it up and was provided the senior discount. When I went in to pick up my food social distancing was not in place regarding a table too close to the counter where I pick up food, and new patrons arriving. I decided not to use Jimmy Jones again because of the issues. However, I called yesterday to make another order for my elderly mother And was asking questions regarding prices of various options (no sea scallops avail) so I could get them the most reasonable price. The clerk interrupted me to get my name and phone number before she would take my order. I did not get all of my questions answered when the person on the phone was telling me she needed to hang up (I could hear customers). I had repeated information to that clerk several times regarding wanting onion rings. I let the clerk know “never mind you’re trying to get me off the phone I’ll order my food from windjammer”. It is not the first time that the people who work at this place seem to have an attitude that is not focused on pleasant customer service. I won’t go back to Jimmy Jones again. They need to train their staff to be polite or replace the staff that are not. BTW windjammers Provides excellent customer service and delicious food.

I love jimmy jones, I have been going there since I was six and still do. There chicken, lobster, and fried shrimp are the best! I have known the owners my whole life, and if you go on there old website I am the little kid happily holding there huge lobster roll! So anyways I really recommend you go there because the people are nice and the food is amazing, so when you have a chance go to jimmy jones locker!

Had the seafood platter with whole belly. I did not get one piece of grit in my clams everything was lightly breaded it was perfect. The seafood was perfect the onion rings were awesome the coleslaw was awesome and the two girls that were working were very nice, very friendly and very much on top of their game. I look forward to my next trip!

They say all good things come to an end. They're right! Jimmy Jones has been a great place to eat seafood for 30 years +-. Unfortunately when the original owner sold the business he didn't pass along how to cook seafood, or the new owners didn't pay attention. I would suggest to go to windjammers in Rochester for seafood. Jimmy Jones now is less than average with a very high price tag. The same food at windjammers cost $20 less and is edible.
