Great place for a short hike with children or to fly a kite. Bring a picnic lunch and watch the edge of the field for deer walking by. I've been visiting here for years with my own children and now my grandchildren. Unfortunately, there are those people who do not clean up after their dog has gone to the bathroom. They leave it on the trails and in the field where the kids love to run around. Not the dogs fault, but they'll be the ones to suffer and not allowed to be there if enough people complain to the caretakers. Please clean up after your pets and respect the property. We're all very lucky to have this gem for all to enjoy and it's free.

Nice Walking trail with poems along the way. Some people don't pick up after their dogs though. Haven't been inside, not sure when it's open.

So beautiful and peaceful, I have been coming here for years. I learned recently that this historical treasure is scheduled to be razed and in its place a wedding and events venue will be built, and this gives me great sadness.nETA- After further research, I believe it to be the neighboring property where the venu will be built!

I wasn't sure what to expect. As I turned through village streets, I nearly drove past this simple farm in the woods. All closed, One is able to walk and read poems written while here or thinking of here. Time stands still. Except for the orchard, the farm remains as it may have been in 1900-1911 when the Frosts lived here. Being an adolescent when we read his poems in school, I was moved back to a simpler time.

While the house was closed because of COVID, we could still traverse the grounds. There is a cute walking trail in the back of the property, although not clearly marked. There are great poems by Frost and his daughter posted throughout the property as well.
