Terribly rude. The woman I talked to didn't seem to be all there. Seemed to struggle to complete a thought. Very arrogant and dismissive.
I think what people need to understand is scammers use company names like Marcam and Thomas Agency to scam you because these are real companies. I have legitimate medical debt and both the Thomas Agency and Marcam are very helpful and understanding when it comes to paying it back.
I got three bills from this company totaling about $80 claiming the original bills Came from “Mainehealth2” I called Maine medial (aka Maine health) billing to confirm that I didn’t have any outstanding bills with them (I hadn’t been a patient of theirs in over 2 years) and it was confirmed that I DID NOT owe any money to them, and further more that they did not use this company for their collections. This company is an absolute scam! Do NOT pay them anything! I have reported this company to Maine medical, and the credit bureau, I will be contacting the better business bureau as-well.
Definitely a scam. Keep calling saying I owe money, however, the company I apparently owe money to has confirmed I am up to date with payments. Very sketchy business practices as well; I called a couple times to try to clear it up, and not only did they request personal information, they gave me false information and refused to identify themselves most times. They also said they don't have email addresses and refused any clarification when I asked.nThey are also not even in the same state as me, so it seems pretty criminal.
