I LOVE LOVE LOVE this school! The classroom size is just right so the kids get the attention and help needed. The teachers are all amazing. There is a steady communication with the teachers and parents, this is vital to ensure our kiddos are getting what they need at home and at school to be successful in their education. I graduated from a Christian school and I can say that this school really creates the foundation needed both academically and spiritually to be successful in life and work.

My children have attended Moses Lake Christian Academy since preschool. They are now in 7th and 9th grade. We have had an excellent experience at MLCA. The classes are small, the environment is great and my kids are receiving an excellent education. I am so thankful Moses Lake has such a wonderful school option.

There are two choices in Moses Lake. The public school, which is severely overcrowded, steeped in the city's gang problem, and an insane student to teacher ratio... and MLCA. Because of this, given the choice between prison and a school (the public school here is that bad), many parents who can afford to, send their kids to MLCA. The result is a total culture not there related to the intent of the school. Many students, and parents, aren't there to get a Christian education. They're there to get a nonviolent education, and avoid the overcrowding. So there's a large, notable influence that wouldn't be here if there were multiple school options. Were this a community with multiple high schools, charter schools, etc, then the majority of attendees would be here in alignment with the school's purpose: to get a Christian education. As it stands now, it's the only alternative to a horrible option. Parents that can afford to send there kids here, do. Overall, it's ok. Academic rigor needs to be increased. Total school atmosphere should be moved more toward the intent of the school rather than simply being 'the alternative' that some can afford. Classes could be administered much more tightly. Again, the influence of kids/parents being there who aren't there for a Christian education, only an alternative education, is apparent.
