Great breakfast spot that I should visit more often. My kids reminded me they want to go back for the amazing buttermilk pancakes.nIt is the kind of place that is worth getting off the Interstate and grabbing a bite to eat.
2nd time here, was going to make it a weekly stop, but not any more. Walked in, sat down, waitress said she’d bring menus over. After 15 minutes, and the two other patrons who came in after me gave their orders, I went to the counter to ask the other server for menus. He apologized, and gave them to me. 5 minutes later, he walked by my table to talk to other patrons, then went back behind counter. 5 minutes later, I went up to counter, told him my party couldn’t wait any more, gave him $5 for coffee and left. He thanked me for the coffee money.
Never disappoints! My favorite place to get lunch in the area. The food is always fresh and local. The staff has always been super friendly! Love Roots!
