My friend and I drove 4 hours to do a snowshoeing tour and it was fantastic! Our tour guide Lisa was great. It was our first time, and we have found we love snowshoeing!

Don't waste your money. Every trail is infested with dogs and people tramping along randomly. This includes the most difficult trails. It shouldn't be called a Ski Touring...center. Call it what it is, a dog park.

We traveled up from Portland ME to enjoy a day of snowshoeing amongst the mountains. For the most part, we enjoyed our time there; however, a few things could have made it more enjoyable.nn1). I shouldn’t have to guess where your business is located. There is a large kiosk structure that lists the names of all of the businesses at the business park where this facility is located, but the sign for “Mt Washington Valley Ski etc.” was at the very bottom and well out of plain sight... especially to travelers along 302. Even upon entering the business park, we were still unaware were the facility was located. Common sense dictates that at the very least, one would put a sign of the name of your business on your building, especially when there is a sign of another business on the building that you occupy.nn2) Properly mark your trails... We were given a map with several named trails; however, a vast majority of the trails did not have a corresponding trail marker. Moreover, there was signage for other named trails that were not on the map. I shouldn’t have to reach for my map at each intersecting point...nn3) Advise prospective clients of the construction areas along your trails. Along one section of the hike, it opens up to a beautiful vast opening with incredible views of the mountain scape. It was a shame that this view was diminished by the various construction trailers, bull dozed mounds of dirt, trucks, backhoes, and other similar construction equipment. Even if you did not have direct control over these things, a quick note on your website, google maps, etc. would help to set expectations with your prospective paying customers.
