Makovicka Winery

We Iove going to this winery! This is our favorite winery to go to! We have been to almost every winery in Nebraska, some in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota and North Dakota! They are very kind and serve great tasting wine! Highly recommend going there!

This winery has a really interesting and fun variety of wines. They will have a wine for everyone here and the atmosphere is really laid back and nice. They have a cute outdoor patio seating area for a nice day. Took a group here with a lot of different wine preferences and everyone found something they like here (even the non-sweet wine drinkers). I think the wines from Makovicka are actually some of the better balanced wines I've tried from Nebraska so far. A lot of wines here are just too sweet for my preference. I recommend the Saskatoon for a fun fruit wine that isn't just drinking sugar.

We tried the mulled wine (elderberry) and it was AMAZING. We're coming back soon to buy mulling spices for Thanksgiving!

Relaxing and beautiful way to spend the afternoon. Diane and Steve are very friendly! Delicious wine. We especially like the fruit wines.

We had a wonderful time! We came out for one of their dinners and sampling nights. Great for a double date, all four adults had multiple glasses of wine and a 5 course meal. It was a wonderful evening and we'll be back! Thank you!
