A good place to bring older children, but I would suggest taking someone to help with the little ones.
Very relaxing place to hang out. Fun toys for the kids to play on. Shaded picnic area with grills to use.
It is a great place to go with the kids. I have fond memories of this park with my parents with many picnics having taken place here. It is wonderful to take my kids to a place that I had so many memories growing up with at this park.

Lions Park is one of those city parks you have know about because it is hidden over by the West Canal bank. In times past the park had more luster and was used a lot more. It is still useful, the trees are bigger (some are cut down), and still has wide open grass spaces.
