Big cedar was amazing! They are directly off a river and have a beautiful area you can walk around. It’s right in the middle of tahquamenon falls and pictured rocks so you can take day trips to go sight seeing! Horse shoes tether ball and ladder ball are all provided near the super clean bathrooms/showers. Each site has water and electricity! Some only have electricity for campers but the campground owns a few converters. The family is super nice & even let their kitty roam around the grounds.

Spent a week camping there it was the perfect spot to explore the UP. It is centrally located to all the main attractions with about an hour or less drive in any direction. Our site was right above the river so we had a nice view every morning to enjoy. Bathrooms and showers were kept clean. Had laundry on site but I did not use. I will definitely go back. There were some really big rigs in campground as well so if you have a huge setup they can accommodate you. Owners were very helpful and available if you needed anything.

I stayed up there under the new ownership.the campground was extremely clean and owners were super nice prices are super Fair. They rent kayaks and it is right on the river. There's also a lot of small lakes and and places to fish. I ended up having a little bit of car trouble. Let me tell you these people went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely go back no questions.....

I recently had a wonderful time with some buddy’s on a up north fishing trip. I have stayed at many campgrounds in northern Michigan and honestly you never no what to expect when you visit a new camp ground. The first thing I noticed was how clean and maintained the property was from the camp site to the walking path next to the river. If your looking for a family friendly place to enjoy some quiet up north family time. This is the place!!!!!nWhile visiting we got the chance to meet the new owners. They went over and above when we found ourselves in a bit of a situation. They took the time to help in anyway they could. I will definitely be back to Big Cedar Campground!!!!!!!nThank you again!!!!

Very nice campground, friendly and clean. We stayed 2 nights here. Checkin was easy, we did arrive early and the girls at checkin were not sure if the site was available yet. We drove over and waited then a gentleman cleaning sites told us we were good to set up. Sites were decent sized, firewood available for sale 24 hrs a day. We booked about a month in advance and had no problems getting a full hookup site. I would recommend this campground to my friends and family. There was no internet where we were camping, price was good.
