Our favorite local pizza joint! They have great customer service and the pizza is always on point. We always order thin crust and it has just the right amount of air in the crust that you eat the whole slice. The sauce isn’t too heavy or too sweet, the spices are that of a magician, and the cheese... oh the cheese! It’s not too greasy or too doughy. This is the perfect pizza in my opinion.
Pizza was good.
Erbelli's is very good, but their gimmick is taking a curated bunch of toppings and putting them on a bready pie in creative combinations. Martini's attempts to do the traditional pizza in a classy thin crust, but the intensity of flavor is woefully lacking. Franco's has the best basic, no frills, no gimmicks pizza in Kalamazoo, in my opinion. Chewy crust, sweet thick sauce, diced toppings, and a good cheese blend. Bottom line, Franco's has the best base - throw your favorite toppings on and dig in. Reorder. Repeat... Consistenly quick and courteous staff as well.
The workers are polite and helpful. It would be better when you can eat inside.
