The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

Today the second shock of my bad experiences connected to this store occurred. Last shocking time was in 2017 when I had a winter coat they refused to sell to me because they said they needed a voucher for it... but today's incident topped even that day.. I'm still in shock over the event because it's simply unbelievable and the most bizarre experience that's ever happened to me at a store. Here goes........nnI took a long time to search for the items I chose, then I had to stand in a long line that took forever (they only have one line open no matter how many customers are there)... and then when it was my turn, the cashier suddenly did a weird thing with my items and held them together looking at their cashier and then without saying anything, they took them back into a weird room for awhile, and then came back and said i could not buy them because the price tags were not priced right!!! I was shocked! They are the freaken ones that priced the stuff, and then wouldn't sell it?!??! I'm through with this place. I don't like wasting my time just so some idiot wouldn't let me buy the stuff I spent so much time picking out! What a tacky stupid bizarre dump! What?? Was the used stuff not overpriced enough? I'll just go to Volunteers of America whom I had just discovered recently. They have better stuff anyways. This place has gotten too weird and too expensive!! And I am still weirded out and scratching my head over this bizarre experience. Shop at your own risk.

Good stuff, good prices, music is so loud the last several visits we can't stay long enough to shop.

This store is a good one. The staff are always friendly and they are very helpful. It is my favorite Salvation Army to go to.

What a wonderful store. It's come a long way in a short amount of time, the people who work there are genuine. They acknowledge me when I come in, always with a smile and always act like they want me there. I like that. I like that they always try to make sure I find what I'm shopping for, but most of all I like every person that works there seems to enjoy there job, it really makes for a nice atmosphere.nIn the last few months I watched this entire store undergo a transformation, from a bit messy and disorganized, to a work of art. It's pretty, color coordinated, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and service is with a smile. Why wouldn't you come to this place.? Great prices, Great people.nKeep up the good work. I give you all 2 thumbs up.
