This is a family forward Campground, so if you have kids, you should really give this place strong consideration. Tons of stuff to do, with the rare ability for parents to allow their kids a degree of autonomy in deciding where to play, and what to do. Fenced-in, multiple playgrounds, parents can relax at the campsite and be confident their kids are all right running around.nnThat said, don't let your two-year-old climb up the Jungle Gym's by themselves, etc.nnFriendly folks run the campground. There is a small General store, firewood delivered to your campsite, and easy access to supermarkets and such within easy driving distance.nnCome and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to take family camping. The staff is amazing, this place is beautiful. There are cottages you can rent if you do not like to use tent or have an RV. Beautiful setting and what a,wonderful place to relax. I know my kids are safe walking around the camp. We all watch out for each other. I love camping at Myers Lake

I'm used to rustic campgrounds where there aren't a lot of people. This one on our particular weekend in July had more campers and people than I'm used to. It was still very quiet. Bathrooms were a hike (we were in the far corner) but very clean and well kept. The kids loved it. Lots of stuff for them to do. Will for sure camp here again.

I love this place and it has earned awards and has placed on best camping lists. However, apparently the United Methodist org that operates it has decided to not open for the 2019 season. Rumors abound about its possible sale, which would be a huge loss for family-friendly camping and religious affirming camping. Have used annually for over a decade for large, multi-day family reunion--and so have other families. Their group sites are a rare find anymore. Plus, my family has enjoyed solo camping on many occasions. Hopefully it reopens again under same or similar arrangements, but I am concerned it will reopen under different ownership with much more commercial, much less peaceful arrangements. Time will tell.

It was ok. We hand picked the sites we reserved 2 months in advance and then when we got there to check in they said our sites were no longer available and they were paid in full a month before we arrived. No one bothered to call us and let us know we wouldn't be able to use the sites we picked they waited until we drive 2 hours there to tell us.
