My Mother had a problem with the lights in the upstairs of her home and called several elections to come investigate the problem. Blue Ribbon was the first to respond and charged her $300.00 to tell her that the whole upstairs would need to be rewired at a cost of $2700.00. I thought that sounded a little on the high side so I told her to get a few other bids. I very reputable local contractor came out later that day and solved the problem for a total cost of $125.00 in about one hour. They did tell her that she should update the wiring upstairs with in the next couple year and quoted her $800 to $1200 dollars( which is less than 1/3 to 1/2) of the quote of Blue Ribbon. When she called Blue Ribbon back to ask for a refund she was informed that she would not receive refund. This company tried to take advantage of a single lady and rip her off
