Large campground with many sites, although not very private. Most sites were decently sized. The lake and trails around the area are nice. Vault toilets can vary on cleanliness based on location and time of day. Quick drive to public access on Gun Lake

I love camping with no hookups. We did run our quiet generator. Our site D6 was not level, but we made it work for our 30 ft. camper. Enjoyed the tent campers near us. Very cool at night and quiet.nnOnly negative was very stinky vault toilets. Took my seat wipes, cinnamon apple spray, hand sanitizer and mask and survived. The host or ranger is not cleaning regularly from what I saw at 2 vault toilets.

Deep Lake Campground is awesome. Our favorite in this area. We do rustic camping. And we love that people are spaced out. Not on top of each other.
