This is a wonderful family owned establishment. Sonny and staff make you feel welcome. The food is great. Best place to get an Italian sandwich. They also have a great selection of wine and cigars.

I never leave Maine without stopping by Saco Bay Variety for some of Sonny's great menu items. Nicest people, great service, and tremendous food at reasonable prices. Try a breakfast sandwich, or a delicious cheeseburger. You can't go wrong if you try this cozy variety store.

I don't often give a five star rating. I have been here many times and I have found service to be outstanding. The staff as well as the owners are personable and friendly.nnThe food is consistently good and prices are reasonable for the quality. The store itself could probably use a facelift, but there's something about the obvious age I find appealing. A neighborhood store that's been there forever because they do it right.
