I cannot believe this banks policy. I wanted to exchange twenty dollar bills for one hundred. Asked for my debit card, told them did not have an account and why did they need a debit card to exchange the same amount of money? Fine took my money back, I have a car, can go someplace else. As I drove home my thoughts were to the elderly who live across the street from this bank. The ones who no longer drive? Surely if TD wants to serve the community they could come up with a way to show cash in cash out. Now if they had been pleasant and helped me might have thought maybe I should open an account here? Something they should think about.
I would always go here but not anymore after today. They claimed I needed an account to get quarters...but right after i was denied i had my friend who was a lighter shade of skin color go over and ask. And even without an account he got quarters...very disappointing.
TD Bank is a phenomenal bank! Their customer service exceeds any other bank I have used. The fact they offer in branch service seven days a week, envelope free deposits, free STUDENT checking and savings, and a free coin return service-- sets TD Bank above the rest!
