Funtown Splashtown USA

My children loved the place and created lifelong memories of our day there. The admission prices are affordable, but the food, especially the service you receive (or most likely, don't receive) are down right terrible. They do allow you to pack a cooler and bring food in as well as the ability to leave the facility & retrieve food elsewhere during your visit. This is a wonderful policy and more parks need to adhere to this. Really what prevented this place from receiving a 5 star review was the food service. It was so bad, bit I didn't let it ruin our day.nThe lines to wait for the rides moved swiftly even on an above average attendance day in late August on a weekday. I was very surprised at how quickly and organized the employees were at moving the lines along. Well done to the management for making this a top priority.nAll in all it was worth it...the kids had a great time. Lodging nearby was plentiful...we stayed at the Hampton Inn nearby that offered 10% off of our tickets. While not having an ocean view, this Hampton Inn had a nice pool and was clean and had an amazing breakfast. Plus it was cheaper than the mom & pop hotels that litter (litterally!) The Old Orchard Beach townside. More chain hotels would help Old Orchard Beach as it is beautiful but the hotels are dated. Please allow chain hotels to expand in this town!

I absolutely love Funtown/Splashtown because it is just a fun experience with your family and friends. I have gone on every ride there since I was 5yrs old. My family vacations up there in Saco, Maine every year and it always feels like home to us. My favorite ride there is the Astro scrambler because it has that awesome music that accompanies with it I wish I could find the music that is a part of that ride somewhere.

Decent rides, games, and water park. Food places are good too, unlike another close by water park...

Haven't been in years but grew up going here with my family as kids and it was always a blast, safe, fun, good food, prices are fair and lots of space and things for people of all ages to enjoy

This is always a great place to go to. My family and I go up super early and come back super late. It's an amazing place for having fun and bonding with family and friends. I look forward to going again this year.
