Nice little hike. The trailhead is well marked, but there isn’t much in the way of parking. The hike is a short, intense hike with a well marked/well maintained trail. There is no view of the spectacular Penobscot Bat as the trees have overgrown any view you might have. The remnants of the tower are at the top. All it is is a foundation of what used to be a fire tower. Up & down takes less than half an hour.
Way cool . great views . Quiet. Turkeys. Deer.
Short hike maybe half a mile. Ends at an old foundation. Not much to look at.
Short hike with no view at the top but worth it for when you don't have time for a half day hike.
There is no view whatsoever. No parking either, roadside or bust.
