Minglewood is a wonderful locally owned shop with a great selection of beautiful and unique clothes and accessories. Most of the compliments I receive on my clothes are when I am wearing something from Minglewood. The owner is fantastic and goes above and beyond to provide good customer service. Highly recommend this shop.

Horrible, Lady in the store was so rude today. My friend and I came in and she came out from the back and said hi then went back to the back. Did not even offer to help. I found a cute pair of sunglasses and went to the back to find the worker because there was no price on them and she was sitting on her phone. When she got up she said “10 bucks why?” and I said “I was just wondering because there was no price tag” and she proceeds to say “oh you wanted to make sure they weren’t 40 bucks...so are you gonna buy them” I felt uncomfortable and disrespected and felt that she did not think I could afford them or did not think I would buy them, very rude and unprofessional, Will NOT be shopping here ever again.

Minglewood is a fantastic locally-owned boutique with hand-selected, unique pieces. It is affordable and there are lots of USA-made, organic, or fair-trade options. The homemade soaps are amazing, and the only soap I buy. The owner and employees are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. I love putting on something new that I've bought after getting home because it smells so good, a light scent of all the soaps and incense in the store. Minglewood is a must-see in Rockford!

Visited Minglewood August 2018 and absolutely Love this place and the owner (Karen). The soaps I purchased were so awesome that I had to have more and Karen went above and beyond to make sure I got them.nThank you so much! I will return and definitely recomend.
