Great trail, always clean. Love there is a police officer there often makes me feel safe when I go hiking with my kids.nWe went to the maple which was fantastic learning for our kids and adults!

I would highly recommend going for the festival of the sugar maples, demonstrating how maple syrup is made. I hope we're at a point next year that the sugar maple tour is more interactive and I would probably bump up the star rating if it were (understanding that the restrictions in place are necessary, but definitely left something to be desired).

I enjoy exploring woodlands for my photography. This park was not a disappointment. It was far enough outside the city to not be overrun with people but not too far of a drive from the burbs. Parking is good and the trails are nice. I like to hike off trail to photo opportunities and this park was good for that. The underbrush is not too bad but I imagine navigating it in the summer would be a challenge as there can be a lot of sticker bushes to contend with.

Took the kids on the maple syrup tour. Very informative and we all learned something new. Volunteers were wonderful!

MY WIFE AND I ALONG WITH OUR 2 GRAND CHILDREN HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. OUR GUIDE, JOE, WAS GREAT. HE EXPLAINED THE HISTORY BEHIND TREE SAP COLLECTION FROM THE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN'S DISCOVERY OF TREE SAP COLLECTION TO THE MODERN DAY PROCESS AS WELL AS HOW A TREE GROWS AND GENERATES SAP. WE MADE 4 STOPS ALONG THE 1 MILE WALK THROUGH THE WOODS WHERE OTHER INSTRUCTORS DEMONSTRATED AND EPLAINED DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE COLLECTION PROCESS. ALL IN ALL WE FOUND THE EXPERIENCE VERY INFORMATIVE AND GOOD WAY TO ENJOY A LITTLE EXERCISE OUTDOORS. THE DAY WE CHOOSE COULDN'T BE BETTER, SUNNY AND 60 DEGREES ADDED TO THE EXPERIENCE.nnOUR THANKS TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERSnnLARRY AND CATHY GRUSZECZKA
