Nice place no Birds to shoot walked most of the day with dogs seen one bird
I'm not sure what this refuge intends to become. It's part Prairie restoration. It's part land for the hunting of birds. It has trees, but it appears to be heavily forested. The Green River flows north of The preserve, but it doesn't flow through The preserve at all. I like it because it's a big patch of land they are letting go back To Nature. Plus there's a nice set of bluebird boxes in The refuge
Tent camped here with two cars. Plenty of room in a mowed grass field
Nice place to stargaze, darkest spot near Chicago
Dark night site closest to Chicago. Nice place to go watch the stars and have a good time with family.
