Thoroughly enjoy working with Steve. He makes himself available when you need help, which is important as feedback happens beyond the lesson. Steve understands short game/putting very well and I feel is a strong point in his teaching methods. Also, Steve teaches within the framework of your body and your swing as each person and their mechanics are different - he will not fit you to a box. But, bottom line - one lesson won't fix your swing, you must be committed and committed to practice. You will learn a lot - if you are willing to be a student of the game and put in the practice, go see Steve!
I’ve really enjoyed working with Steve. He patiently listened to me describe the problems I was having and offered multiple solutions and practice drills. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about golf and helping people improve. When something was working or clicking with me he had other ways to address what he was communicating. Combined with the technical tools Steve uses I heartily recommend him to anyone waiting to improve their game!
I started taking lessons from Steve just a few months ago, but I am already seeing the benefits of his teaching! Steve starts with your natural swing, then uses his expertise, technology, and clear communication skills to correct your swing - one change at a time. I highly recommend Steve if you are looking for a teacher to take your game to the next level!
Steve is one of the top teachers in the Chicagoland area because of his simple approach to the game that embraces each student's indivudality. He preaches the fundamentals and is there to make you a better player not a better student. Steve sn't about one swing system for everyone and that is so important for modern day instruction. As someone who played Division 1 Golf and has worked with countless teachers over the years, I highly reccomend Steve for long game and short game instruction.
I have been taking lessons with Steve when I started golf around 5-6 years ago and my game has improve a lot with his guidance. He is a great listener and always has a solution to help me fix my problems with my swing or take me to the next level.
