This was my first time in this Salvation Army over on 83rd and 60. I got some items I got to the register there was one item that did not have a price on it. she said it would have to go in the back and they would have to get a price I asked her how long it would be. She said tomorrow. I’ve been to other Salvation Army‘s something did not have a price on that they would contact the manager and they would find a price for me. Then I asked to speak to a manager. The lady at the register said to walk to the back and meet the manager. I’ve never heard of that one before. I thought customer service managers are supposed to come to you. So I walked out of the store and I’ll never go back to that store again. When I got in my car. I tried calling and no one would answer the phone. I called back 3 or 4 times...
Customers are extremely rude over the workers, no one ever gives you space, even in a PANDEMIC. The toy section is consistently messy, children running about and throwing things across the building. The clothes aren't organized by size, only by color? Huh? Besides that the selection is quite good, very large store.
Pretty fair has everything organized ok but I don't but the credit card machine goes broken too often. So bring cash just in case. One time the whole register system went down. No one one could buy anything. To be fair that was 2 or 3 times with the credit machine issue and 1 time for the complete broken register system. No war to buy snything. So maybe 5 percent of my visits. So take cash just incase.
Ive been going to this place since it opened and its great you have such a variety of clothing choices both for mens and women the staff is nice and understanding of course if you don’t speak spanish its ok some of the workers do speak and overall they try their best to help 10/10
massive selection and reasonable prices. they carry jackets (unlike Goodwill). I’ve found name brand items in great condition, but you have to be patient and thorough. I think the changing rooms are currently closed due to covid.
