No large bags to carry purchases while walking home
They had what I have been hunting for at so many other Walmart s.
I have not shopped in a Walmart in a long time. There were lots of bare shelves. The sporting good counter was completely unattended and it took quite a while to track down an employee to help me. Everyone was polite and helpful, but definitely not impressed. I value service over price.
It's a Walmart. Their selection and layout is very much similar to any other I've visited. But one thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how dirty/damaged the floors were in certain sections; it felt like I was walking through a warehouse or a flea market.nnThere were wooden pallets with product on them that were clearly wheeled straight from the back and still not placed out on the floor, and in many cases the pallet jack was left in them unattended with no workers in sight. Having worked in a warehouse before, it was against the rules to leave product like this or leave jacks out in front of customers. Also, many isles were barren and devoid of product or anything for that matter. They probably have more lax rules here.nnKeep in mind it was maybe 3pm on a weekend. Just an overall odd experience and would prefer to not come back unless it works out as the most convenient option.
