I just got my open water and advanced diver certification here and I had a blast. My instructor (Loren) was a great teacher, made the course very fun and easy to understand. I'm going back in a few weeks to get my rescue diver cert. My only complaint, there were a few visits where they seem a bit understaffed, I'm assuming because they are all instructors the weekends are busy, and most the stuff are out teaching courses. During the week I had no problems.
Just finished both my rescue and dry suit certifications with Zac. His classes were both fun while at the same time informative and useful - plus, he really provided great information/recommendations re: what drysuit to buy. I'd recommend him/Eco Dive Center. Looking forward to diving with Eco again...
This place is great - the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you book a dive trip before the end of this year (2008), the equipment rental (should you need one) is free.
I went in later that afternoon and met with Dylan. I told him I was looking to get more serious about scuba diving and wanted to get fitted head to toe with everything. Dylan was an incredible resource who walked me through everything I needed. Sometimes the information was a little overwhelming, but you can tell he knows his stuff.
The people were really nice and were very knowledgeable about diving. And I think the inside was really cool.
